With a history going as far back as the late 1980s, Oberlin Drag Ball is one of the oldest and most celebrated events on campus. Drag Ball’s purpose is to honor the intersectional history of queer culture and activism, support the local Cleveland drag scene, and serve as a space where students can freely explore alternative gender expression.
This year, Drag Ball will be taking place in the ‘Sco, the Rat, and the first floor of Wilder. The annual costume contest takes place at 11 PM.
We will be featuring performances from AJA, TT the Artist, Shari Turner, and Santana Romero.
Attend a drag ball event to purchase tickets! Tickets are $7, plus a suggested donation that will go to Beta Local, an artist-owned nonprofit from Puerto Rico.
